Pre-wet

Thoroughly wet the surface and the substrate before you begin. This will ensure even filling and help with the cleanup when the installation is complete.

Note: Do not open the vacuum packed bag before you are ready to use it.
Pour on

Open the vacuum packed bag, and pour the ROMPOX^® - EASY onto the surface.
Work in with squeegee

Work it into the joints with an easy sweeping motion. Use water to help settle it into the joints. Do not use excessive water pressure. It begins to harden immediately after the excess water evaporates or drains away.
More water
Work it in

Once hardening has begun, gently remove any surface residue. A broom works well for this step.

Note: Unused material can be saved for later use. Simply pour the remaining product into the empty bucket and cover the product completely with water. Make sure the water completely covers the product. Material stored in this way can be kept for up to one year. Do not save material that has begun to cure.
Final cleaning

Within 24 hours you can walk on the surface. Optimal temperature is 68 F, actual curing time will vary with temperature variation.

Preparing

Materials on the site: aggregate , water can, compactor and D 7000
Bedding

Work in you aggregate. Road base or finer grit.
First application

Fill the D 7000 in a water can and pour it over the aggregate.
Section

Work in sections (5 gallons/one section).
Compacting

Start compacting with a trowel.
First compacting

Can compacting with a compactor for 3 minutes and let it dry for 15 minutes.
Final application

Fill the D 7000 in a water can and pour it over the aggregate one more time. Let it dry for 12 hours

Product information

The solid jointing sand that prevents weeds

Step 1:

Pour the jointing sand onto the dry surface and mix it with a spade, to ensure the best mixing of grainsize.
Step 2:

Using a broom work into the joints. In order to achieve the best filling of the joint, always sweep diagonally to the joint.
Step 3:

With new construction we recommend compacting using a vibratory plate as long as the paved stone / slab covering is suitable for vibratory plates.
Step 4:

If necessary, any sand residue left on the surface can be swept off using a large, coarse broom the next day. The surface is loadbearing after 24–48 hours.
Step 5:

Then wet the joints using a spray set to fine mist (Do not use a watering can). The joint should be moistened until it no longer absorbs the water. Repeat this process after 1-2 hours.
